Imagine the possibilities…

The Oviedo Farm -  will be a lush 4+ acres within the community of Oviedo – where vegetables, herbs and fruits are grown using sustainable methods, and chickens are free-range raised for their eggs.

Situated within the bountiful acreage will be a solar powered building that houses a storefront market – where the harvested produce will be processed, shared or sold.  Behind the market will be classrooms where adults and children come to participate in educational programs.  Space will be provided for tool storage, and there will be a greenhouse for plant propagation.

Through membership options gardeners can -

1) lease garden beds to grow and maintain their own produce.

2) For non-gardeners shares can be purchased in the farm’s production and the harvested produce divided equally amongst the participants.

3) There will be gardening space designated for group charity programs

4) garden space will also be provided for teaching programs.

We will hold fun filled bi-annual events for the entire community to share in harvest time celebrations.  The Oviedo farm will offer a rich opportunity for community growth and cohesion.
